Wing, down yestrirday from Galena, report the
Upper Mississippi ~at a stand from that place down

the day that the Red Wing led, and reported the
river falling above. The Whirlwind tenons th/e

Prairie Bird reports the Illinois falling with six to
seven feet water in the channel. Here the river is
receding steadily, with still plenty of water in the
