SATURDAY EVENING, United Effort Will Win Prosperity The future of our nation depends upon the patriotism of all our citizens. We are now laying new foundation stones. Let us work together while on this great task. Employers and emplc yees should forget personal aims for the country's sake. The New York Chamber of Commerce went on record recently in favor of "A closer association of wage earners and capitalists in a'l large industrial establish ments, with formation of representative committees in which differences and disputes can be ironed out and adjustments effected, and particularly the bringing of both groups into direct contact with the problems of each other. The Chamber voiced its belief that / "Only thus may be secured that degree of co-operation which will tend to stabilize prosperity and give American industry its rightful supremacy in the commerce of the world." Hundreds of members of this great and representative association of business men applauded the adoption of these resolutions. It will not need a genius to bring about such co-operation of employer and wage earner. A few men of common sense can do it, and build a great national edifice of square dealing on such a foundation as the Chamber of Commerce has laid. Co-operation Means Industrial Peace!
