The Governor issued a suggestion that people in state institutions should knit for the soldiers and at Danville there have been made 127 sweaters. 186 pairs of socks, 30 pairs of wristlets, 13 helmets and 9 scarfs. The in mates have also made bathrobes, surgeons' gowns, bed shirts and thousands of surgical gauze dress ings. Chester Case. —The Public Service Commission has scheduled its llrst hearing for Chester. It will be held Thursday, and will relate to tho complaints that railroads have closed avenues in Essington. Hearings are to be held In this city and Leba non and other complaints next week. Mlddlctown Case Next.—The Mld dletown water case will be heard by the Public Service Commission next Wednesday.
