Production which comes to Harris burg after a successful season at the Bijou Theater, New York. It is generally conceded that Mr. Walter has written a play which, from the standpoint of thrills and suspense is superior to any of his previous efforts, not excepting his famous "Paid In Full." The play concerns a young South ern girl, the fiancee of an eminent physician, who comes to New York to marry, and disappears. The only clue copy of a newspaper, containing the advertisement of a "fake" clairvoy ant; and with this evidence, the doc tor, aided by a young lawyer friend. Institutes a search for the girl. After in ban y exciting episodes she is finally rescued, and the culprits who abduct ed her, instead of being turned over to the police, are sent to the physi cian's private laboratory and used for experimental purposes in the inter ests of medical science. This act causes the doctor to run afoul of the law.
