The man ' will then be called according to his class. The classes were published re cently and makes provisions lor , every registered man, married, single' crippled, or physically tit. An investigation into the record of the second middle judicial district which includes Harrisburg and Dau phin county, it is found that there are 71,607 men who have registered. There are 6,898 registered in Harris ' burg city and 7,366 registered in Dauphin county. In District No. 1, Harrisburg, 1,677 have registered, District No. 2, 2,755, District No. 3, 2,557. In District No. 1, Dauphin county, 3,199 are registered, District No. 2, 2.496, District No. 3, 1,672.1 The quota for the three districts of! Harrisburg is 811, for Dauphin coun-| ty exclusive of this city. 586. Will Meet Train of Troops With Delicacies Red Cross workers in the canteen department, will meet a trooptraln of soldiers at Lemoyne, late this after noon, with lunch boxes, vigarets and postal cards. Sandwiches, pretzels, fruit and candy will be distributed among the boys. The canteen committee purchased 2,000 boxes of cigarets from John C. Herman and Company, yesterday, and the soldiers will appreciate the smokes which the canteen workers will give them. Equipment for twelve cots will be sent to New York headquarters this afternoon, for war use. EDUCATORS TO ADDRESS TUTORS Noted Men Are Coming For County Institute Here November 12 Plans for the annual county teach ers' institute to be held in the House of Representatives durlnfc the week of November 12, have been completed by Professor Prank K. Hhambaugh, county school superintendent. The program will include lectures and addresses by a number of the leading educational men of the coun try.
