12 TROOP C NEEDS FINANCIAL AID OF EVERYBODY And All Persons Should Be Willing to Help Buy It a Motortruck Of course you are willing to help the Governor's Troop get a light mo tor truck so that it may be In the same class as the other units of the First Pennsylvania Cavalry. When the Eighth Regiment was on the Mexican border the people of Harrisburg chipped in and pur chased a similar truck for the Har risburg contingent and it is only fair that the Governor's Troop should be given the same consideration. At the weekly luncheon meeting of the Harrisburg Rotary Club yester day the members subscribed SIBO toward the fund for a motor truck tor the Troop and It is now up to the rest of Harrisburg to help in promptly raising the necessary money. About SSOO will be needed and officers of the Governor's Troop with the endorsement of the Cham ber of Commerce will call upon the people for such subscriptions as they desire to make. All the other troops liave been supplied with a motor truck and it isn't fair to expect the Governor's Troop to go to the front with no transportation facilities and with the chance of having to accept the tender services of an occasional mule team. The boys are going into the serv ice cheerfully and in the proper spirit. Help them in every way pos sible. All subscriptions for this pur pose sent to the Harrisburg Tele graph will be acknowledged and turned over to the proper officers. Two Teams Organized Two teams of the Governor's Troop have been organized to solicit sub scriptions to the truck fund and they request that fraternal organisations and all others send checks to Captain George W. H. Roberts. These sub scriptions have been made through the Rotary Club: Bowmanv & Company $25.00 E. G. Leurs, Harrsburg Leath er Product Company 5.00 H. C. Fry, Fry Coal Company .. 5.00 A. E.
