Raunick, president of the Harrlsburg Academy of Medicine, has called a meeting of the council of that organization to be held to-morrow aft ernoon, when a resolution will be con sidered offering the medical and sur gical services of the organization to the Federal government. This will probably be approved wltU an offer of the Harrisburg Academy of Medicine building, 319 North Second street, for any use to whioh It may be put. The Academy members will act later on the resolutions. These will be similar to the ones which were approved yesterday by the Dauphin County Medical Society, affil iated with the American Medical As sociation. Certified copies of the reso lution will be sent to the Secretary of War. Washington, and to Governor Brumbaugh, when finally adopted. Johnson, of the Pennsylvania State Chamber of Com merce. has appointed a committee of the state chamber, consisting of D. E. Tracy, Harrisburg, chairman, Kugene C. Bonniwell, of Philadelphia, and Paul Littlefleld, of Harrisburg, to represent the State Chamber in urging the House i of Representatives to vote in favor of the passage of Senate bill No. 104, ! known as the State police bill, which has been made a special order for third reading next Monday night at 9.30.
