WEST SHORE NEWS 576 Farm Articles Sell at Auction for $3,853.13 Meclianlcsburg, Pa., March I.—An unusually good (arm sale was that of Mrs. Henrietta Brenneniun, willow of Victor Brenneman, of Silver Spring township, near Bryson's Bridge, on Tuesday. The sale commenced at 11.30 o'clock In the morning and clos ed at 4.30 o'clock and amounted to the eum of $3,5,">3.13, when 576 articles were- sold. Csne horse was sold for 5204, a cow and a calf for $126.75; others at slOl and $100.50. At the sale of S. F. Messinger, in Hampden township, which amounted to about $2,700, a pair of mules brought $407, and horses about $l5O. Young cattle sold as high as SSO each, and a cow and calf far $lO3. Pa., March 1.-—-Yesterday afternoon the pupils of tho Knola High school organized an athletic associa tion, officers were elected and prelim inary plans for the spring were dis cussed. Outdoor basketball, volley ball and tennis teams will be formed. The auditorium of the new school building will be used by the associa tion several evenings each week.
