FRESH SELLING WIPES OUT GAINS Steel Again Storm Center, Drops Further; Pressure on Other Leaders New York, Sept. 26. Gains of i the first half hour invited fresh sell | ing which soon wiped out most ad j vances, leaving some leading issues I under yesterday's mlnlmums. Steel | was again the storm center, declin ing to 113*4, BV* points under its ! maximum and I*4 under yesterday's close. Other leaders seemed to bo singled out for pressure because of the ef fect upon the balance of the list. Trading was extensive, dealings in steel overshadowing all others. Mar ines developed sudden activity and strength and served to affect more or less general recoveries at mid day. Bonds were steady.
