Miss Kaufman has not only the honor of assuming the principal role hut the distinction of ht-ving Written the play. The play is an cld-time fairy story with a king and queen and prince and princess a;> wel' as fairies and the indispensible old witch. The play has been adopted by Miss Kaufman for the Junior Aid. Miss Kaufman possesses all around ability not only as a writer but as an artist! This Js the first "real literary" work of the little authoress although she has written several poems for children's magazines and has had sev eral stories published in "The Cricket" the Seller School paper, the school vi"< re she is a student.
