Prices hard ened late, the strength of Reading and I Lehigh Valley especially the latter, forming the basis of general im provement. Motors continued to dominate the special list although the movement in that group was most conflicting. Willys-Overland gained six points with almost five for Chandler Motors to the new record of 106% on its in creased dividend while General Motors slumped 57 points to 462.
