Measures taken to control the recent epidemic of measles which came to Hershey from surrounding; towns proved so ef fective that only seven new cases de veloped here. Dr. C. R. Phillips, county health inspector, read a paper before the chief medical organization of Harrlsburg describing the success ful campaign in Hershey and praising the general health of the community. During the paet year there was not one case of serious Illness among the "50 children in the consolidated school.
