Mauk. a former resident of this city, and who was engaged in the undertaking business with his son at 1521 North Third street, until sev eral months ago. when he moved to Ohio, died last night, at S:3o o'clock, at Canal Winchester, Ohio. The cause 'if death was not mentioned in the brief message sent to his friends here. Mr. Mauk was 58 years old, and is survived by Ills wife and three children, (Jeorgc. Helen and Kdward Mauk. He was engaged in the undet taking business in this city for six years prior to mov ing to the West. Before coining to this city lie conducted an undertaking es tablishment in Carlisle. Miss Helen Mauk left several days ago for her father's new home. It was understood at that time that Mr. Malik's illness was tile cause of the daughter's visit. Charles H.
