Johnson, manager of Madison Square Garden: McGuire. president of the New York Real Estate Dealers' Exchange ,and Harold T. Edwards, attorney of New York, surrendered to Federal authorities here yesterday on an indictment, charging them with vio lating the law in bringing into the country the Willard-Johnson fight films. Pleas of not guilty were entered for them by Attorney George Gordon Bat tle and a demurrer filed. Attorney Battle argued that the indictment did not contain charges which constitute a crime. He said that tlie films were not brought into this country, but are still in Canada. District Attorney Lucey opposed the demurrer.
