Eugene Renker, who has been suffer ing for the past several weeks with typhoid fever was in the streets this week for the first time. Jonas Martin and family. The Rev. Mr. Mar tin has been pastor of the Church of God here for five years and lias been returned by the Kldershlp, which met at Goldsboro. The minister and his family were asked to come to the Hethel, and upon their arrival they found it filled with people. The ser vices were opened In the usual man ner, after which tho- Junior Christian Endeavor Society extended its welcome. M. L. Wilt then welcomed the Rev. Mr. Martin and family in behalf of the Senior Christian Endeavor Society, U. W. Wade in behalf of the Sunday school .and O. W. Fox in behalf of the church. Addresses were also made by the Rev. G. W.
