The newcomers were mostly Greeks and according to the interpreter were from the Island of Cos. There were other foreigners includ ing a number from Sweden who were enroute to Minnesota and points in the State of Washington. According to the interpreter the immigrants are a thrifty lot of people. They will set tle in the west where they expect to go to farming. Most of them brought considerable money to this country. On his return East Saturday, Mr. Nathanson stopped off in Harrisburg for several hours to visit friends. This was his second visit to Harrisburg since the war broke out. He expects to have at least one party of imml ' grants every two w«eks, according to reports. He says the immigrants ex pect the war to end about Christmas, and then belivee the Allies will win. TRAIN RIDER KILLED The funeral of Harris White, a col ored man, whose body was found along the Reading tracks near Rutherford yesterday morning, will take place to morrow afternoon from the under taking establishment of Charles H. Mauk, Sixth and Kelker streets. Cor oner Jacob Eekinger investigated the death of White. He learned that the man died of a fractured skull. It is believed the man fell from a moving train.
