LACKAWANNA COAL PAYS BIG DIVIDENDS New York, July 2.—The Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Coal Com pany was six years old yesterday and the directors, in addition to the regu lar 2% per cent, quarterly dividend on the $6,500,000 stock, declared an additional cash dividend of 50 per cent. The coal company has paid regu lar annual 10 per cent, dividends since its organization. It paid an ex tra dividend of 20 per cent, in 1913, an extra 10 per cent, last year, and, .with the 50 per cent, bonus, has paid a total of 130 per cent, in the six years. July 2.—Three little girls were graduated last even ing at the "eighth annual commence ment of the kindergarten and primary school in Burrowes' Course of Music Study in Franklin Hall. Mrs. Lillian Shuder conducted this successful in stitution, and the graduation of the youthful musicians always attracts a crowded house. Ambassador Gerard and American consular representatives in Great Bri tain have submitted affadavits and other evidence tending to show the misuse of the emblem. Some of the affidavits state that in certain cases the British Admiralty's agents "have advised masters of vessels to use the American flag." SUPREME COURT ADJOURNS Bv Associated Press Philadelphia, Pa., July 2. Tha State Supreme Court adjourned this afternoon until to-morrow when it was announced decisions would be handed down. Among the arguments heard to-day was that of the Com monwealth vs. Heck C. F., Dauphin county. The Supreme Court took original Jurisdiction in this case which deals with the judicial appor tionment of the State. This case was begun here In May and Is regarded as of unusual im portance. Pa., July 2.—80y Scouts of Lewistown have been having a good time at their camp near Mil roy, where they are spending two weeks under the leadership of Wil liam Woods, scoutmaster. Ten chickens that they had dressed for dinner were stolen a few days ago from a cool stream nearby. Wednes day night they were treated to a new surprise when due to the' hard rains, the milldam above their camp over flowed, flooding a number of them from their tents.
