Market Square Expected to Issue Call to Dr. Hawes At a meeting of the congregation of Market Square Presbyterian Church to-morrow evening it is expected that a call will be extended to the Rev. Dr. George W. Hawes, pastor of the Belle fonte Presbyterian Church, to fill the pulpit which has been vacant since the resignation of the Rev. Dr. J. Ritchie Smith nearly a year ago. The electric company in order to to-operate with the city forestry de partment and observe the city regu lations relative to tree trimming had asked the city official to supervise the trimming. The trimmer took out some dead branches, Mr. Mueller said, which could have been left in perhaps, and so preserve the contour of the tree, but which from a practical point of view should have been taken out.
