June u.—Miss Sara V. Shriner has returned home from the National School of Klocution and Oratory at Philadelphia, where she has successfully completed the two-year course, receiving the degree of Bachelor of Elocution. The commence- exercises were held last Saturday evening. Miss Shriner rendered an original monologue entitled "At the Theater." It was the hit of the even ing and she received applause and many, beautiful flowers. Mips Shriner was awarded a prize for the greatest improvement in the work of her class during the year. The expression teacher of the Bloomsburg high school was present* at the commencement, exercises and made an engagement with Miss Shriner to give a recital, followed by a reception and dance, for the high school at Bloomsburg this evening.
