P«„ April 22.—1ntl- I illations that the legislature would not appropriate money for the erection of I buildings at any of the institutions re -1 celving State aid. owing to the lack | of sufficient funds, was received with much dissatisfaction here. In the past seven years the college attendance has tripled, notwithstand ing the limitations placed on the num . ber admitted during the past three I years. More than two hundred, it is said, have been refused admission j each year because of lack of class room and laboratory facilities. The college stands alone In not ; charging admission and is patronised principally by parents unable to send their children to expensive institutions. I Jt is located in the country where the cost of liviiu; is not excessive. In the last sixty years it has been given but two buildings by private donors. The management says in that time it has not been given one dollar of endow ment by an individual. It must de pend wholly upon the state and na tional government. INJUNCTION AGAINST MOTOR CO. Injunction proceedings to restrain P. B. Shaw. George Parkman, R. W. Mc- Connell, James A. Tanner and William I Kennedy, said to be interested In the jT'nited Water. Gas and Electric Com- I pany, from collecting water rents, and otherwise trying to take over the man agement of the Williams Valley Water Company at Williamstown, were be ] sun in the Dauphin county court this j afternoon. The complaint was made by the Sterling Consolidated Electric Company which controls the water company. The plaintiff alleges that the | defendants not. only have made ef ! forts to collect water rents totaling $2,000 but that they have dismissed J. B. Whitworth as superintendent. The court fixed April 27 at 10 o'clock for hearing the injunction.
