Reflecting for eign conditions, the local stock market manifested further uneasiness in to day's early dealings. Shares-of the In-j ternatlon Group were off one to two i points in a few instances, however, yielding to low level. Trad ing was l'ar less active than yesterday and the sales for foreign account were in smaller volume. Announcement of further gold eicports to Paris and Lon don served to emphasize the financial tension at those points. Prices continued to fall during the morning, many issues declining under yesterday's lowest level. The movement followed cables from Paris and other foreign centers to the effect that Aus tria intended to occupy Servia's capi tal to-day. A result of the gold drain, which is not in excess of $100,000,000 thus far this year, there was another sharp ad nance in exchange. Rates as quoted | were little more than nominal, how ever, many hankers declining to buy or j sell. I It was reported that local banks were I j calling loans in anticipation of appre ! ciahly higher rates for call and time | money in the near future. I News of actual declaration of war i was followed by selling on a very ac tive scale. Prices fell more rapidly, I Canadian Pacific extending its loss to over six points, while other prominent I stocks were offered at Increasing re- [ ! cessions. Large blocks of stocks were thrown over in urgent haste, presum ably for foreign holders. Furnished by H. W. SNAVELY Arcade Building New York, July 28. Open. 2.30 P. M.
