GOLD EXPORTS FEATURE
OF MORNING SESSION
Dealings Were Spasmodic, Only Semblance of Activity
Being on Decline; Bonds Easy
By Associated Press
New York, July 23. Resumption of
?old exports was the most interesting
cature of the morning session. The
shipment, following a thirty-point rise
in exchange, the engagement was re
garded as. of more than ordinary sig
nificance, because of the acute depres
sion reported on the Continental
bourses. Lehigh Valley was sold down
a total of two points and further weak
ness was shown by New York Central.
Chesapeake and Ohio and the specula
tive list in general. Baltimore and
Ohio made a new low level, as did also
Rock Island, Pfd., and the refunding
and debenture and Missouri Pacific
convertibles. - Dealings were spas
modic, the onl' - semblance of activity
being on the decline.
Bonds were easy.
