PRICES HARDEN SLOWLY DURING MORNING HOURS Another Sharp Break Occurred in Sterling, Making Drop of 100 Points Bonds Irregular By Associated Press New York, June 19.—Prices hardened slowly during the morning. The de mand was limited principally to the seasoned dividend-paying shares, but there were larger dealings in a few low-priced specialties. Another sharp break occurred t ln demand sterling, making a drop of about 100 points in three days. Bonds were irregular. Sales of bonds I in the first hour were almost $1,000,000 par value, and more than half of the total for yesterday's full session. Two thirds of this trading was in the Rock Island issues, which was believed to foreshadow an announcement, possibly later to-day, of the reorganization plan. Rock Island collateral continued to fall. They touched 30, a drop of more than two points, and the lowest figure at which they ever sold. Furnlshehd by H. W.
