nHMMMnffMHom WUHELER'A riTUNT (HAIX KORga Povrgßgp OVEKSUOT TUR ABIIERS, FEED CUTTERS, tic. The above cot repreaanta a single or one bona machine with the hands necessary to attend it. The anbacribera lake this method of in forming the pobllr in general, that they have for aome lime been carrying on, in all their various branches, the manulariurc and *Ble ol Whecler'a Patent Chain Horse Powprs, together with Overshot Thrasher*, Feed Col ter*, Revolving Horse llaket, fee ,in Light Street, Columbia co., and the town of North umberland, Northumberland co., Pa. The Horse-Power* are strong and durable, and very simple in their construction: run light, and are not liable to get out ol order. With a slight ele vation, lite weight alone of the horse or horses drives the Thrasher with force and speed. They may also ho used for various other purposes, such a driving Circular Saws, Turning Lathes. Boring Machines, Grind- Stones. Churns, e'c. etc. ft Tlic Overshot Machines have several advantages over the machines now in use. The apron or feeding table is level, and of a proper hpight to allow the feeder to stand erect, and feed evenly and easily without annoyance from dust; sticks and stone r.re not liable to gel iiito the thrasher, and the grain is not scattered, hut thrown down to the separator. J"he two hofse machine, attended by from two to three hands, will thrash from 100 to 150 bushels of wheat, or double the amount of oats per day. The one horse machine, at tended by two or three hands, will thrash from 50 to 75 bushels ol wheat, or double the amount of oats per day 1 . The Feed- Cutter is a first rate article, and is very much used. It cuts fine and very fast; stalks are cut by it 3-8 of an inch long, at he rate of from 300 to 500 sheaves per day. The foregoing is a brief statement of the qualities and character of our machines.— I There probably is a larger number ol ! Wheeler's Patent Towers made and sold J than any other kind. We offer our ma- i chines to the farming communi'y with full ' confidence in theii merits, and invite all in- i terested to call and examine (hem before > purchasing elsewhere. It is be- j ranse they don't lonrl: the cause of the dis- [ case. The cause of all ague and billion* dis- j eaes is the atmospheric poison called Alias- ' ma or Malaria. Neutralize this poison by ! its NATURAL ANTIDOTE. and all diseases caused by it disappears at once. Rhodes' Fever and'Agne Cure is this Antidote to Malaria, and moreover it is a ! perfectly harmless medicine. The certificate j of the celebrated chemist, J. R. Chilton, of j New York, to this effect, is attached to every | bottle; therefore if it does no good it cue do ; no harm. This if. more than can be said of Quinine, Arsenic, or any tonic in essence, as their use is ruinous to the constitution and brings on DUMB AGUE, which never allows a per son to feel perfectly well for a single moment. In illustration of these truths I annex some extracts from a letter just received from a Musician: Georgetown, Ohio, March 17, '56. Jts. A. RHODES, Eq.—Dear Sir: Yours of 2i! inst. is al hand. The Cure arrived laie last year and the difficulty in setting any one to try it was greatly increased from the fact thai a remedy had been introduced which was growing in favor with the public, as be ing better than using Quinine, —not knowing I presume thai the remedy they needed to escape taking Quinine, contained the DRUG ITSELF! This remedy,(knrw-i as "Smith's Tonic,") would invariably BRI-.AK an ague, but it did not CURE it, and it would ef'eu return with renewed vigor. The one circumstance 1 deemed in your favor, if 1 could institute a test comparison between it and your CURE. The lollowing is the result: Three persons look your "Core," all of which were cases of "Quotidian Intermit tent Fever," of many weeks Maudin?. They had tried Quinine, and other remedies, occa sionally missing a chill, but it was, (as in all such cases,; slowly wearing them out, and laying the foundation of other and severer maladies. I did succeed in effecting a radi cal core of all litres of these ca-e; with your remndv. and they have not had a chill since. In a* three of these cases the "Smith's Ton ic" had been U'ed, and would, as before sta ted, break the chill, but after a period or two had elapsed it vrotijd return. 1 think there will be no difficulty now in giving to your "Cure" the vantage ground of any other remedy now in nse here. &e. lie. WILLIAM BUCKNER, M. I). RHODES' FEVER and AGUE CURE, or Antulote to Malaria, the only harmless reme dy in existence, is equal'y certain as a PRE VENTIVE, as a "CURE." Take it when yon feel the chill coming on, and jou will never have a single one. JAMES A. RHODES, Proprietor. Providence, R. I. For sale by Druggists generally. June 18, 1856.
