A young man who wants to acquire a knowledge of the art of business, is brought into aotnal contact with it.-jnst as it is going on in all its branches, in the wot Id at large. He is actually placed in business, with ; a capital sufficient, and engaged with his fellow student in transactions as real as those of the Counting House itself. Whatever be its origin, It is hered itary in the constitution, descending “ from parents to children unto the third and fourth generation; ” indeed, it seems to lie the rod of Him who says,"l will visit the iniquities of the fathers upon their children.” The diseases it originates take various names, according to the organs it attacks. In the lungs, Scrofula produces tubercles, and finally Consumption; in the glands, swellings, which sup purate and become ulcerous sores; in the stomach and bowels, derangements which produce indi gestion, dyspepsia, and liver complaints; on the skin, eruptive and cutaneous aifections. These, all having the same origin, require the same rem edy, viz., purification and invigoration of the blood. Purify the blood, and these dangerous dis tempers leave you.
