Tailored Suits.
Never since we started this Cloak and Suit Department
have Dooular priced suits received so much careful thought and
consideration by our cloak and suit buyer as they have this
season. First we sought out the very best makers of medium
and popular priced suits. You know that's the way the suit
business is divided up. Each suit house has their specialties.
We shopped from one end of the suit market to the other.
One suit from this house, two or three lrom another, a half
dozen from a third and so on till we have finally assembled
what we consider the handsomest showing of suits between
12 and $20 shown by any store in this section of the state.
In not a few instances slight changes were suggested by
our buyer which the maker was perfectly willing to entertain.
Not in style, but often in the matter of trimming, stitching,
buttons or some other little detail which tended in each in
stauce to improve the suit. Not satisfied with securing the
very best values to be had, we've gone a step further and scaled
down the matter of profits to the very lowest pointy consistent
with safe merchandising. That's plainly evidenced in the kind
of suit priced here at 13.75, $15, $16.50 and 18.50.

selling for $13.75, 15, $16.50 and $1,8.50 that would have
been considered much out oi the way had we priced them $5
higher in each instance. We have not, in our storekeeping
experience, seen suits to compare with them in value. e

Injunction Made Permanent.
Washington, March 21. The
American Federation of Labor and
President Oompers and olbers of that
organization were permanently en
joined from "conspiring, agreeing or
combining to restrain, obstruct or de
stroy" the business of the Bucks
Stove & Range company, in a decision
rendered by Chief Justice Clahaugh
of the supreme court of the District of
Columbia, making permanent the
temporary injunction of Justice Gould
against the Federation la that case.
The 'Federation's counsel immeliate
ly noted an appeal to the district court
of appeals.
Two Battleships to Stay In Pacific.
Washington, March 24. It Is pres
ent Intention of the navy department
to have the battleships Nebraska and
Wisconsin accompany the Atlantic
fleet on the way around the world.
These plans contemplate that two of
the battleships of the fleet as it Is
now constituted will remain on the
Pacific coast. Which . two will de
pend upon the recommendations made
by Admiral Evans and the condition
of the ships. It Is not the intention to
send any armored cruisers wilh the
fleet on Us long voyage.
To Dismantle Old Mill.
New Castle, March 24. Upon or
ders received from the Carnegie Steel
offices at Pittsburg work will begin to
morrow dismantling the old rod mill
here. The plant has not been operat
ed for seven years. It Is rumored a
new steel plant will be built, upon
the site.
