' J ' Smart k Silberbers: Rugs & Carpets New Spring Designs and Great Price Concessions Facts are stubborn things, and can't be twisted and turned to suit the convenience of any kind of statement. One or two facts about this department are worth your knowing ; we call carpets by their right name. With us a Tapestry Brussels is just a plain Tapestry Brussels, a Velvet Brussels is a Velvet Brussels. We permit of no misrepresentation. The former will never be quoted to you as a five-frame body, nor the latter as a Velvet Wilton. It's a square deal here, or not at all. We claim to give as good values, dollar for dollar, as can be found anywhere in the United States, and you can depend on getting justwha't you bargain for every time. Men, We're Talking to You. Recently we advertised a closing out of nur entire stock of Men's Kid Glovee; til grades, all sizes. We offered you your choice of any of them tor 90c, and tbey represent Fownes' and Perrin' best $150 and $2 00 lio6S, in cape kid or suede. We expected that oue announcement would clean us all out, but we've several hundred pairs left. What's wrong with you, men? Don't you know a good thing when it's handed you ? If we were to make the same same offer on womeu's gloves there wouldn't be pair left now. Better get busy. Half Price Suits and Coats. Just about 25 Suits left. By the end ot the week we want to see every one of these sold. In Coats, both Ladies', Misses' and Children's we have a better assortment, but at these great reductions they are all going fast.
