Wynian, was born near Bradensburg, Venango county, Pa., Sept. 10, lWlfl, and died in TioncU, Pa., Fobruary 14, 1RIW. Mrs. Wyman was tho daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth McKinney. About four years ago alio was happily united iu marrlago with Wm. G. Wyman, and nearly three years ago came to Tionesta with hor husband where they havo sinco resided. Just two weeks prior to her death she was taken ill with pneumonia, and growing rapidly worse, other com plications arising, from tho beginning her condition was of such a serious nature as to bailie all efforts of her physicians to stay the disease, anil on Thursday af- ternism of last week death relieved her of her sufferings. The suddenness of her taking oil proved a shock to tho cntiro com in unity, for Mrs. Wyman was looked upon by all as tho picture of health, and about the last person one would expect to bo so suddenly overtaken by the Death Angel. She wss a woman of noble character, and of such a gen lei good nature as to endear her to all who knew her, and her many good qualities: of mind and heart made her a universal favorite. In her death tho community loses a most excellent meinbor of society, the church a consis tent and useful membor, and tho hus band a truo, loving and grea.'.y devoted wile, in which great loss he has the deep est sympathy ol all his neighbors. Brief services wore conducted at her lato home, by her pastor, Rev. J. V. On Thursday evening at 11:30 the gen eral store of Proper A Myers was dis covered to bo on fire. Tho whistle at the tannery aroused the citizens, who turned out to a man to assist in extinguishing tho flames, but by the time assistance ar rived the entire interior of the storo was In flames. The citizens wero unable to get near the store and their attention was turned to save the contents of Mr. Myers' private residence. A largo portion of the household articles were carried out and removed 'to a safo distance. In order to save the Hrooklyn House carpets were bung up against- the end of the building and kept saturated with water and it was with desperate fighting that tho hotel was saved from burning.
