The No. 250 does not at all indi cate the regular consecutive number. of the Lodge in order of time by any means, as there are over 900 in the' State, but the number is to fill that of a defunct lodge and supply its place in the order. The Hall itself deserves a better notice than I cau give iu tha brief limits of this article. It is well ar ranged and is new, beautiful and well furnished, in short, and its coraple tion reflects great credit to the energy of tbe fraternity in Eastern Forest, as well as the good people who aided them in ita structure. The lower sto ry of the building is occupied by T. J. Reyner, one of the enterprising merchants of the place. The cere monies at the ilall were impressivei and peculiar, and were seen and heard with delight by the large as semblage composed of the brother- fcliood and the people. The dedication of tbe Hall closed at about half past three. Among those present and par ticipating on the occasion I would mention Bros. John Everhart and Stanley of Yokohama Lodge, Bros. Hons. K. L. Bro H Irwin ruadd some remarks not quite, so practical or pathetic. He ground out some fun fbr the occasion. Bro. Delo made A good address, and Bro. Wood also. In short all' the addresses were :;ood and well listened to by an at tentive and appreciative aadience. Time and space forbid even a fair synopsis of some of these interesting addresses which continued np till six o'clock, tbe interest continuing una bated, notwithstanding the beat of j the day. At the evening sessions the degree of Rebecca was conferred tip on nine of tbe wives of prominent members of the Lodge, Bro. Wood acting as N. G., Irwin as P. G., and Ititchey as V. G.
