A company has been formed composed of citizens of our town and called the Tioncsta Oil Co. Mr. S. J. Wolcott will have charge of putting down the well, which will be commenced forthwith, and pushed to completion as soon as possible. This well will be located a short distance from the old one that was sunk iu 65 or 'G6, and in which a large amount of oil was found, it having thrown out a stream of oil the all size of the tubing for several hours. But it was put down in the Rev. Hicks will occupy the pulpit new "Winchester" last fall, and with of the M. E. Church next Sunday evening.
