Hickory here, seven miles, in less than
three days. Somebody necdi over-

cruVnel by the heavy buow yesterday,
and, as jar as kuowu, five lives were
lost, oil employes of the railroad. A
train of cars filled with passengers was
iu tho depot at the time, but none
were injured, miraculous as it may
seem
We are pleased to note that
Henry Ewald, Tidiouto's boas jeweler,
has sufficiently recovered from his ac
cident last fall, to again bo nt his
bench and attend to all work in his
line. Parties iu need of his services
will please make n noto of this.
