II. CHURCH. OUR TICKET. Tho ticket nominated on Saturday, which appears in its appropriate place to-day, is one of which the party can be justly proud. There is not a man on it but merits, and will probably receive the solid Republican vote of the county. All are straight Repub licans and reliable meD. All that re mains for the Republicans of Forest county to do, is to accept cheerfully the result, and work and vote for the nominees with as good faith as if each had been their particular choice at the Primaries. Our system is gotten up with a view to ascertain who is the choice of a majority of the party for each office, and in taking part in the Dominations each voter, by that act, signifies his intention to abide tho re sult and support those men who may be tho choice of the majority. We . lata this, because we have heard, in umes past, different views expressed a the subject. We believe there ere jost as good men defeated as ere nominated, yet, it was not the ill of the party that they should be ieir candidates, and we bow to their ' cision, and an as cheerfully work nd vote for the nouiiuees a if we id voted for each of them at the Imaries. This, we hope, and he re, is the feeling of every man in j party, and the vote polled last iurday shows that we have nothing Tar for the party or candidates in : ct county, provided no factional ;ij is raised between now and tho vember elections. For such strife re can be no excuse, and wo do not icipate any trouble either from that iree or any other. We have faith believe that the whole ticket will triumphant, and ara satisfied that : candidates are qualified to fill 'j office in a capable and accepta- nanner.
