Hohrer then delivered an able address
to the teachers, expressing his pleasure
at meeting them, and urging them on

ing Institutes, and of the importance
of strict attention on the partof teach

of Forest Co. Teachers' Institute,:
Whereas, This being the eichth
annual meeting of our Institute, and
whereas, it is proper that we. as teach
ers, make some suitable recognition of
raid occasion : Therefore.
Resolved, That, notwithstanding the
great depression of affairs in general,
we are sincerely gratified at the pro
gresa of educational interests
Resolved, That we, as teachers, cm
phatically condemn the sybteni of
"boarding round," believing it injuri
ous to the health of the teacher, and
as entirely inconsistent with our pres
ent progressive system of education.
