Ho it enac ted lv the Senate and House of Hopresontatives or the Common wealth of Pennsylvania in General Assem bly met. and it is hereby enacted by the same and in all election's hereafter to bo held in this Common wealth ; it shall be unlawful for the Judges or Inspectors of any such election to receive anv ballot or ballots from, any persons embraced in the provisions, and subject to tho disabilities imposed by said act of Congress, approved March ad, 1W3. And it shall bo unlawful lor any such person to oiler to voto anv Mich ballot or ballots. Sue. 2. That if any such Judge or inspec tors of election or any of tliem shall receive or consent to receive any such unlawful ballot or ballots fi om anv such disqualified person, ho or they so offending shall bo guilty of misdemeanor, and upon convic tion thereof in any Court of Quarter Ses sions or this Commonwealth, ho shall for each offence be sentenced to pav a line of not less than one hundred doilars, and t undergo imprisonment in tho jail of tho proper county for not loss than sixty days.
