The refiner is the cat that tats the rat that invades the stores that lie in the house that Jack reared. inoirossis the dojr that werncs the eat, that feeds on the rat, that gnaws on the sack, that lies in the uonucil reared by Jack. "Rczoloot" is the cow with a broken horn, that tossed the dog with pointed tooth that worried the cat that indulged on the rat, that dined on the malt embMmcd in sacks that lies in the mansion built by Jack. The Association is the maiden so weak nnd forlorn who milked the bovine with a twisted horn, that tossed the dog like a bag of corn, that troub led poor pussy's domestic peace, that troubled the rat that fed on grease, that lay in the tenement that Jack built. The Agency is the piiest with pomp and form, that married the maiden so fair and forlorn, that received the lac teal from old Crumple Horn, that tossed the dog with rage and scorn, that broke the back of pussy cat, that made a meal off the ravenous rat, that ate the riches stored in fut, that lay in the heuse that Jack framed. And the "bulls and bears" they roared in the morn when the shaven priest with pomp aud form had mar ried the maiden so sad and forlorn, that took care of the milk from Twisted Horn, that charged on the dog with "rezolout', scorn, that kept the feline in a troubled mind, that hashed the rat with fclouious fangs that invaded the riches in plethoric sack, that lay in the mansion reared by Jack. Tid ioute Journal. The Pittsburgh Commercial says that we learn, from Harrisburg, that it is the intention of Governor Hart ranft to sift, closely, the mass of spe cial legislation put into his hands for approval, and to send back to the leg islature without his approval bills which are either unnecessary or un wise. The new Secretary of the Com monwealth and Attorney General are scrutinizing bills keenly, and any at tempts to sneak through questionable bills will b met with an attention too vigilant to be overcome. This is as it should be. The people will stand by the Governor in his course. The present winter has beu looked to, fcy some, as the last and best oppor tunity that they are likely to eujoy for passing bills for their own pri vate lieue.1t; and the state at large will be glad to hear ef the probability of their dUapointmeut.
