' . For several days preceding tlte reunion the members of M. C Iwry P'wt of that place, assisted by its uriotic dtiaens, were busily eneaced in making preparations for the event, and when the day arrived the band saw aauuwr in which the principal streets were decorated showed that they had not been idle. Many of tbe rosi'lenoea of private citizens were tastefully festooned with flags, ever greens and bunting, which, together with the profuse street decorations, gave the town a very attractive appearance. 1 ' ' The committees having tlie matter in charge were cheerfully and liberally second ed by tbe residents of the town, and the con tributions of money, provisions, etc., poured in in such profusion that there was not only enough, but to spare, and to this tact may be attributed the eminent success which at tended their efforts.
