Cleon halh a million acres

Clflon tlwelletli in a palace
In a collnee I ;
Cleon hath a doxen fortunes
Not a penny 1 )
But I lie poorer of t
the twain is
CIcon and not I.
Cleon, true, possesses acres
But the landscape 1 ;
Half the charms to me it yie Ideth
Money cannot huy ;
Cleon harbors sloih and dullness
Freshing vigor I ;
He in velvet, I in fustain
Richer man am I.
Cleon is a slave Is grandeur
Free as thought ii m I ;
Cleon feeds a score of doctors
Need of none have I ;
Wealth surrounded, care environed,
Cleon fears to die ;
Death may come, he'll find mo ready,
Happier man am I.
Cleon sees no charms in Nature
In a daisy I ;
Cleon hears no anthems ringing
In the sea and sky ;
Nature nines to me forever
Earnest listener I ;
State for state, with all alien limits,
Who would change 1 not I.
