There are Keys to both Arithmetics bound sin
gle or double, for the convenience of teachers, in
which the solutions of the questions are given with
much extra matter for the black board. These
Keys arc the most complete works of the kind ever
published, and contain, in addition, about two
hundred examples in Mensuration, &c, for the
use of the Teacher. All that is wanted is to have
the above books examined, and no teacher who is
acquainted with the science of Arithmetic, will
hesitate to pronounce them the best works that
have ever been published in this or any other
country. -
Although issued but a few months, they have
already been introduced into the Night Public
Schools of New York City in all the Schools
public and private, except two, in the City of

but 13 minutes to boil two gallons of water and bake biscuit
in the anme time, and hroil beef steak, and all done in the
beat manner with seven pounde of coal, in thirty minutea
