Tt the Honorable the School Director of Monroe County: Ge.htlkmex: At the earnest and repeated olicitations of many friends of education in our County, I have consented to be a candidate for the office of the Connty Snperintency of Com mon Schools, at the election to be held in Stroudsburg, on the first Tuesday of May, IS72. If elected, I shall discharge the duties of the office, to the best of my ability, accord ing to law; if defeated, I shall give my earn ed and hearty svipjort to the administration of the sucessful candidate. The welfare of our Common Schools stands high above all personal claims and considera tions, and should therefore constitute the only power that will influence and determine your minds when you come to cast your votes at the flection on the first Tuesday in May.
