. Frightful Accident; Scth Kennedy, says the Wayne County Herald, an old and respected resident of Mt Pleasant township, fras Rilled in his grist mill on the 18th ult., by being caught between two wheels. He went below to oil the machinery, telling his son, a young man of 19, to start the mill. Shortly afterward the boy observed the shaft which ran the stoues, jump up four or hvc inches, and supposing that sonic thing had gone wrong, he immediately stopped the mill and went below, when he found that his father had been caugh in the machinery. The alarm was given and the body of the unfortunate man re moved, when it was ascertained that he had been cut eutirely in two, and his limbs horribly mangled. Of course his death was instantaneous, as he must have passed between the spur wheel communi eating with the water wheel, aud the cog wheel turning the upright shaft which gave motion to the stones.
