Beliable Testimony. TTe call the attention ojjhe reader to die following letter f rum President Smith, of Ueslcyan University: MiDnx.ETO'vvv, Conn., Feb. 23, 1S59. Seth W. Fowle & Co. Gentlemen: I first mado uo oftlio Oxygenated Bitters some 6cven or eiglit years eince. Having suffered for twenty years from a form of dyspepsia, which was attended with a nervous Loadable, on an average of not less than one day in a week, I was ifTdticed, by the unpretending rec ommendation of Dr. Green, " to try one bottle, and if no benefit was received to discontinue the use." The ute of one bottle warranted a further trial, to the extent of some three or four, with a careful observance of tl.'o acconipam ing directions. The result was, an almost entire rcliof from the usual dyspeptic symptoms and their depressing, painful consequences. I believe thoc Wttors produced an entire change in the habits of my t-ystem,aud upon the active energies oftlio digestive organs. I now deem myself as exempt from Dyspepsia as most iKsrsons. These Bitters have al&o been of ser vice to other members of my family. Very respectfully yours, AUGUSTUS W. SMITH. THS OXYGENATED BITTERS. Tr5E OSYG2KATE2) E3TTEBS. Stoddard, X. II., Sept. 30, J859. Wcsrs. Seth IV. Fowle & Co., Gcnt : I was, for many year.', a great sufferer from Dyfpepfla or Waterbrash, and tried almost everything within my reach, but to no benefit, until I was induced by the recommendation of my physician, Dr. Hazelton, to make uc of (he Oxygenated Bitters. The first bottle produced but a si i slit alteration in the disease, and had it not lweu fir tle urgent request of my physician, I riwiili! tlH;ii have discontinued their use, thinking them to be of no avail ; but his confidence inspired mo to pcr hevor, and after using to the extent of halfado7.cn bot tles, I had outirdy regained my health. I hope all Dyppoptlc. persons will be induced togive them a fair trial, being confidont that the remedy is tlio most potent, for the various forms of Dyspepsia, that has been pro duced. SILVER'S PLASTIC PAINTS: CHEAP, DURABLE AND PROTECTIVE, Weather aad Fire-Proof. These paints will stand any climate, with out crack or blister and harden by exposure, thus making in time an enamel of stone, protecting Wood from decay, and Iron and other metals from rust and corosion. They differ, essentially, from the so-called mineral paints of the day which are, principally, O chres and Clays, and are entirely worthless. Silver's Plastic Paints are Purely ME TALIC, containing no Alumin or Clay. They are levigated finely, mix readily with Linseed Oil, (without the trouble of grind ing,) and flow under the brush as the best White Lead, and excel all others in body or covering properties, one pound of which will cover as much surface, as two pounds of White Lean, reducing the cost two-thirds. There are six distinct colors, viz: Olive, I Light Brown I Light Chocolate, Black, J Lark do. j Deep do. All equally valuable as a preservative Paint and particularly adapted to painting The outside of Buildings, Fences, Steam boats, Cars, Tin and Iron work. 03REMEMBER! Exposure Hardens and increases the Durability of these Paints. DIRECTIONS Mix with pure Linseed oil, as thickly as possible, as the Paint is the lasting protecting body, and the oil simply the medium or agent in spreading it.
