On the night of lhe 5th of November, 1853. a man by ihe name of Isaac Brown, abscon ded from Slroudsburg, taking with him a young girl about 17 years old, with whom it is supposed he is ohabiting. The said Brown is 33 years old, about 5 five feet 10 inches in height, light complexioued, sandy hair and is crossed eed eyes light blue and formerly a lesident of Bioom County. N. Y. He is a School Teacher, professes to bea Baptist and occasionally turns preacher The young girl, whom he enticed away, is about 5 feet one inch in height, rather slen der, dark hair and grey eyes, and has an impediment in her speech. The said Isaac Brown left a wife and two children in Stroudsburg.
