lin, Judge Sterrett presided. The. Executive
Committee. who have recently been willettlng

field had been thoroughly canvassed. reported
forty-live thousand-dollars actually subscrib
ed, - with enough more virtually pledged' to
carry- the sum - te sixty thousand dotter,. .
So much encouragement was felt . from this
fact•that it was decided that work moat be
occonenced at once. To this end two Impor
tant committees were appointed.
