The testimony on the part of the Com monwealti ‘ illeas- all etreuniegatitial, but of such a character as to indicate that the defendent kept a house for improper purposes. The defence offered no testi money, but Mr. Moore, oonnsel for the prisoner, made a strong appeal to the Jury on behalf of lila , client, Mr. Pear-. son followed for , the :Commonwealth, after which Judge Stowe delivered the charge to the jury.
