The weather continues cloudy and cool,
but pleasant . The river was stationary
last evening, with scant seven feet in
the channel. There have been rio arrivals
since the date of our last report, aside
from the regular packets. The St. Marys
from Cincinnati and Julia No. 2 from
Zanesville, are due this morning, and
the Alaska from Cincinnati will proba
bly, get in sometime during the day. -
The Grey Eagle, from -Parkersburg,
earths on her, last trip with one of the best
trips' of the season; full of freight and
nearly one hundred cabin passengers.
. The St. Marys will, return to Cincin
nati as usual to.rnorrow, leaving at noon.
The Robt. Burns, for Missouri river,
and Minr.eapolis. for St. Paul, departed
on Saturday. Tne latter boat had a
splendid trip, and she deserved it, asshe
is & splendid boat.
Capt. C. A. Bravo, we understand, has
taken or is about to mks command of the
Wannita.
Capt. Jack Harrison haslinrohased an
interest in the line between Wheeling
and Parkersburg, and is now in com
mand of the Rebecca. -
