—A steamboat twenty-two feet in lengt i
and carrying eighteen persons, has bee
built on oNashoe Lake, Nevada. It has
brass engine, weighing seventy-five

_ -The Decatur (Albama) Bebub/ican, of
Wednesday says: Yesterday was a proud
day for Decatur; the first steamboat since
the war was launched from the' shipyard,
the Ida. Well may our citizens be proud
of the enterprising spirit that prompted our
worthy townsman, Captain Mat. Todd, to
such an undertaking. The ida—named
complimentary to a beautiful and accom:

Limestone county—fs one of the hand

that of the Leonora No. 2; and Lady Grace;
that of the Lady Franklin and JanoFrank

that thero be a bright light placed on her as
a warning signal to passing steamboats.
