SEC. 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the Select
and Common Couneits of the City of itilegheny, and
it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same:
That the City Controller be and he is hereby.au
thorized and empowered to nave Bonds prepared to
the am•itint of $200,000. to be signed by the Mayor
and Treasurer, and countersigned by the Control
ler. Said bonds shall be designated "City Park
lledds,'' and shall have coupons attached, bearing
interest at the rate of seven per eentinn per annum,
payable on-the ltt days of Jan aary and July.
bEC. 7. That said bonds shall mature in yearly
Sums not exc eding twenty thousand 100,000)
dollars, and the lenges,. of said bonds shall mature
in ten years from the date of the adoption of the
plans, - viz: the 14th day of November, A. D. 1867.
They shall be issued to the. Park Commission from
time to time, noon their requisitions agreeably to
the provisions Of. the sixth section of Act of the
General Assembly - of the Commonwealth of Penn •
sylvania, entitled 'An Act authorizing and pro
viding means for the conversion of the Common
Grounds of Hie City of Allegheny into Public
Parks." approved the 26th day of March, A. D.
SIC. 3. That the faith, credit and property of the
said city be and Is hereby pledged for the redemp
tion of said bonds at maturiety', and the interest ac
cruing thereon. , "
