Mr. Miler presented the report of the

Mr. A.- D. Smith offered an onilnaltee
providing for the negotiation of a por
tion orthe citybonds, by the Finance
Committee, in mounts of five hundred
dollars, for such sums es the Committee
may deem necessary, pot, however, to

MP Smith presented a communication
from the Finance Committee 'accompa
nied by a revolution authorizing them to
have prepared, negotiate and sell en the
best possible terms, bonds to the amount
of $60,000 in accordance with an ordi
