The market ruled ilrm again thin week, and
ander the influence of • good eastern demand,
prices, compared with last week, have slit

for stock cattle, One party alone taking nearly
all the rattle of thin description that Was at.

prices raoging from X!.. to 63,c, according to
quality. The best grades of Cattle, suitable for
tetailing in the eastern . markets, may be quo
ted from one quarter to one.half tent per
pound higher than last week, ranging erns b!,
to tfNe. One New York Ursa bought two Stoves
of extra Ohio cattle at sg, while so (neat we
could . learn, Olds was the higheat figure paid by
Philadelphia shippers, and there was Put one

Good to medium cattle sold at front to se,
and the grant proportion of cattle or ante this
week were of thin description, though as al
ready stated, there were two or three extra
deur°, and they brought extra priers. Upon
the whole, the market was agar. one for hold.
eta, and with a demand fully up to the surpli,
cattle at all kinds sold readily, and thit, too, at
