unfavorable reports from the east, • less num
ber of buyers In attendacce, a pretty good sup.

the. market was a very hard otte, being devoid
of life or animation, and prices hare drelloed

andibls, too. will hive a tendency to depress
the market, The quality of the cattle on sale
this week, was fully up to the usual standard,
and some of .the cattle, if they had been here
last week, would have brought one cent per
